The Allegheny Region Cleantech UP competition, sponsored by the Department of Energy’s Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE), provides the opportunity for collegiate teams from Pennsylvania, Ohio, West Virginia, and Maryland to receive cash prizes, $50,000 for the winner, as well as mentoring and services to advance their technology and company. The top three winners will be invited to compete at the National Cleantech UP competition for additional prizes and services.
